The secod longest hole on the course and the
demanding finishing hole which is required
accuracy from every shot whether to hit over
the water for a short third shotor lay up and
leave yourself with a testing mid to long irom
to a large green underneath the club house.
The notorious 18th hole has already been named the "Death or Glory" hole and is renowned as a score breaker. Your tee shot needs to be aimed at the club house in the distance, thus avoiding the bunker on the left. Make sure you have a good look at your second shot, as water comes into play on the right and there are many bunkers on the left. If you position your second shot well, then you will have a medium to short iron to a three tiered green.
Director of Golf Tip
Take on the water at your own peril! It is much more advisable to treat this hole as a three shotter and hope you arrive safely on the green. You can be very satisfied with two putts on this green.
