HINTS ON PLAYING SEA LINKS
Sea Links is "the most challenging golf course in Asia". We hope this guide will help you on your way round the golf course.
Wind plays an important part in positioning and shot selection so you must pay careful attention to the direction it is coming from.
The fairway yardage markers give the distance to the middle of the green. A RED flag indicates a FRONT pin position, so DEDUCT 10 yards and a YELLOW flag indicates a BACK pin position, so ADD 10 yards (except Hole # 13). The WHITE flag is positioned in the MIDDLE of the green.
We recommend the following handicap ranges for the tees:
BLACK TEES Professional golfers and handicap below 5
GOLD TEES Handicaps 9 and below
BLUE TEES Handicaps 15 and below
WHITE TEES Handicaps 28 and below and Ladies 18 handicap and below
RED TEES Inexperienced players and Ladies 19 to 26 handicap
NB. Sea Links is a challenging course to play and if it is your first time playing here, we believe you will have more enjoyment if you play off the WHITE tees.
We do hope that you enjoy your round of golf here and you will come back and visit us many more times. |
